WhatsApp Flow - Trello Power-Up

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using WhatsApp Flow ("Service," "Power-Up," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WhatsApp Flow is a Trello Power-Up that enables users to receive real-time WhatsApp notifications about Trello board, list, and card events. The Service includes:

• Phone number verification via WhatsApp
• Event filtering and notification preferences
• Board and card activity notifications
• Configuration management

3. User Eligibility

To use WhatsApp Flow, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Have a valid Trello account
• Have a valid WhatsApp-enabled phone number
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Accept the Trello terms of service

4. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use WhatsApp Flow solely for personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Reverse engineer or decompile the Power-Up
• Copy, modify, or create derivative works
• Rent, lease, or lend the Service
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the Service for commercial redistribution without permission

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use WhatsApp Flow to:

• Send spam, harassment, or abusive messages
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Conduct phishing, fraud, or scams
• Interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools
• Sell, trade, or distribute access to the Service
• Impersonate others
• Generate massive numbers of notifications to disrupt service

5.2 Compliance with Laws

You are responsible for ensuring your use of WhatsApp Flow complies with all applicable laws, including:

• Anti-spam regulations (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, etc.)
• Data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Consumer protection laws
• Laws in your jurisdiction

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Rights

WhatsApp Flow and its contents are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We retain all rights not explicitly granted to you.

6.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to:

• Your Trello board data
• Your WhatsApp phone number
• Your notification preferences

By using WhatsApp Flow, you grant us permission to:

• Access Trello webhook events for your enabled boards
• Send WhatsApp messages to your phone number
• Store configuration data necessary to operate the Service

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Dependencies

WhatsApp Flow integrates with:

• Trello/Atlassian: Board data and webhook API
• Meta WhatsApp API: Message delivery
• Cloudflare: Infrastructure and storage

7.3 Disclaimer

We are not responsible for:

8. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your Trello login credentials
• Keeping your phone number current
• Managing your notification preferences appropriately
• Complying with applicable laws when using the Service
• Notifying us of unauthorized access or security breaches
• Obtaining necessary consents before sending notifications to others

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 "AS IS" Disclaimer

WhatsApp Flow is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about:

• Uninterrupted service availability
• Message delivery speed or reliability
• Accuracy of event detection
• Compatibility with future Trello or WhatsApp changes

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Lost messages or notifications
• Business interruption or loss of profits
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Damages exceeding the amount you've paid for the Service (if any)

9.3 Service Availability

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee:

• 99.9% uptime or any specific uptime percentage
• Uninterrupted service
• Delivery of every notification

10. Modification and Termination

10.1 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features at any time
• Change the Service API or integration points
• Update pricing (if applicable)
• Provide notice of major changes when feasible

10.2 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in prohibited activities
• Violate applicable laws
• Abuse the Service

10.3 Your Right to Stop Using

You can stop using WhatsApp Flow at any time by:

• Removing the Power-Up from your boards
• Uninstalling it from your Trello workspace
• Requesting account deletion

11. Data and Privacy

11.1 Privacy Policy

Your use of WhatsApp Flow is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

11.2 Data Handling

You acknowledge that:

• We process Trello webhook data for event notification
• Your phone number is shared with Meta's WhatsApp API
• Data is stored in Cloudflare infrastructure

12. Fees and Payment

WhatsApp Flow is provided at no cost. However:

• Standard WhatsApp messaging rates may apply based on your WhatsApp Business Account plan
• We are not responsible for WhatsApp charges
• We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future with notice

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WhatsApp Flow and its developers from any claims arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of applicable laws
• Your infringement of third-party rights

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable international law, including GDPR where applicable.

14.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable local and international regulations.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WhatsApp Flow regarding the Service.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.

15.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign these Terms to successors or assigns without notice.
